As Phil knows (You're not Jeremy Clarkson or Billy Mays :P) I have a new Steam account with Portal, HL2DM, Gmod, and a few other games I rarely play, but I have (Such as the HL2: Lost Coast mod)

If anyone wants to get on my friends list, my Steam name is Alfie_SR this time, and I have a computer which can actually play the games now (Got it for christmas, remember?)

And yes, I know it's April 1st, but still.

For Christmas I got quite a few things (lucky me) but the most noticable would be the tablet I got, it isn't the greatest model but it's good enough for a 14 year old who's hardly a professional.

It doesn't display my screen as a wacom does, and the way it controls my moouse is something I need to get used to, but it's nice.

Here's me playing around with it:

1) My laptop has been reset due to me failing at installing Ubuntu. Not really sure if it WAS my fault actually, I did what the FAQ said, but then Ubuntu wouldn't run from the Hard-drive, overrided to run Windows so I could simply delete it and run it from VirtualBox instead. Windows had been deleted. Great. So I had no OS, and my BIOS was confused. I installed Ubuntu on a HDD, so that I could run it from any PC, but no, it had to wipe my internal instead. >:(

So I used a recovery disc and now only a few of my programs work, but thankfully all of my important shit was on my HDD. Didn't get wiped.

So I say, Fuck you Ubuntu. Fuck you.
Now i'm off to install VirtualBox and hopefully you'll remind me how awesome you are, and i'll forgive you.
Looking on the positive, my laptop didn't forward the cache and such, so my laptop has sped up dramatically.

2) Today was the last day at school, so I have plenty of free time to count-down to Christmas, however I still have Judo tommorow, which isn't actually Judo since we're having a party, and again on the day after X-mas. Yay.

3) Mr. Presser, for those who remember, is my Food Tech and CAD/CAM teacher and there are roumers around the 3 NG members who go to my school (2 of which are noobs, but quite cool if they used proper grammar, and the 3rd is me. I can't classify myself, but level 20 doesn't exactly seem noobish to me) that he is going to return to NG, whether or not he's going to make a new account, or go on his old one is unknown, but his old one is a level 7 account from 1999 if you can find it, prior to the redesign, he was on level 9, but the requirements changed.

So now if you see me call a noob 'Sir', now you know why.

So, say hello to my new header, an unoriginal (even though I did make it) header with a broken image in the center, added for the hell of it.

I may fix that, I may not.

More specifically: MythBuntu.

I may get normal Ubuntu if it all goes well, but MythBuntu came free with a linux magazine, and is intended for new users more than experienced users. Plus it comes with the feature of using a wireless network adapter as a bluetooth hub, so I can share my files with the downstairs TV (my TV is crap)
As it happens, the disc comes with MythBuntu, Fedora, Mandriva, OpenSUSE, Antix, and Haiku, so I can, as the magazine puts it, 'Choose my flavour'

At the moment, it's only testing how everything works, once I get my Vista laptop, i'll uninstall Linux, move my files to Vista, then reset XP so that my Mum can use it, she's buying off me for £100-£150 because she's helping me towards my Vista fund.

So, I need a Linux expert.
Someone who knows about MythBuntu, who can help me take a look through and help me install it on my XP.

Also, anyone who does help, don't expect me to zoom in, i'm only trying them out for when I get Vista.

Reality Entails A Lie (Or REAL, ha ha).

REAL is a project I just started, and I want to get the best result possible, so, I need some artists, some inspirationalists, some mods, and if steelknuckles wants to help, i'll make him an admin.

I am really lost for words that I have my own domain, even if it is a free .TK, and that it is a full working website. But I need some help, first up, I need a favicon, a unique favicon, or at least one that isn't part of a popular website, I can arrange the upload and align since blogger doesn't make that easy.

Everyone involved in this website will be credited, because yes, we will have a credits/affiliates gadget and credits will go above the affiliates.
